Okay, so we all have heard, or at least heard of the string of kitschy albums The Brady Kids released throughout the seventies, with such tunes as "It's a Sunshine Day" or the hippy-dippy lyrics of something like "We Can Make The World A Whole Lot Brighter." They also did a few cover tunes from hit of the time like "American Pie" and "Day After Day" but lets face it. They left out the best of the seventies!!! Here's the Brady Kids album I would have made, complete with some much better cover songs that I would just love to hear with their own Brady spin on them (The Name Of The Original Artists Are In Brackets).
My Fictional Brady Kids Album
1. It's A Sunshine Day 2. Good Times, Bad Times (Led Zeppelin) 3. Strutter (Kiss) 4. Keep On 5. Takin' Care Of Business (Bachman-Turner Overdrive) 6. Piece Of My Heart-Maureen Solo (Janis Joplin) 7. Time To Change 8. Smoke On The Water (Deep Purple) 9. Sunshine Of Your Love-Barry Solo (Cream) 10. Candy (Sugar Shoppe) 11. Proud Mary (Creedence Clearwater Revival) 12. I'm A Believer-Susan Solo (The Monkees) 13. We Can Make The World A Whole Lot Brighter
And there we go! What a much better album they could have done. Maybe they would have recived some more recognition from singing some REAL songs. On the other hand, after hearing them, maybe not.

The Brady Kids did go on tour for a little while, but it had to be cancelled because of the sheer number of people who wanted to be able to see them live. Just to show you how popular they where, when a radio station offered the first person to call in free tickets to go see the Brady Kids live, the switchboard broke down because of all the calls coming in at once! I have some more information on The Brady Kids touring and picture at my website all about the Brady Kids music. Here is the link for it: www.geocities.com/brady_kids2001/band.html
