Hey, Lucy&BradyFan, My name is Brad. Was over at the Brady Bunch sitcoms. We both live in Adelaide. You said to come over and join your board so thought I'd come over for a chat.
Have you been importing the brady bunch dvds? Or waiting for an Australian release? I haven't imported them. I planned to wait, but I won a copy of Season One off Brady World at the beginning of the year. Was able to watch through the season on my computer before the dvd region set. But last month I was able to find a patch to make my player multi-region so I am able to watch them again. But I'll wait for an oz release. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long.
As I said over on the other board about Barry not coming to Adelaide earlier this year. That was disappointing. I would have went to his show for sure!
How old are you? are you a brady fan from the 70's or newer generation like me? Introduced to the Brady Bunch in the mid 90s with the films. I'm 20.
Talk to you later. From Brad.

Hey Brad, thanks for joining!
Its great to talk to another Aussie Brady fan. Ive got all three seasons of the Brady Bunch on DVD, which I bought online from the US. I just couldn't wait for Australia to release them, I was too excited, LOL. I should be getting Season 4 (my favourite season!) within the next week or so.
Very disappointing that Barry didnt come down to Adelaide. Hopefully in the near future he'll decide to visit us.
I'm 18 years old, so I'm also a newer generation fan. My dad got me into The Brady Bunch since birth practically.
Look forward to chatting to you some more, Take care Steph

Hey, I didn't plan to import the seasons. I can be patient for an oz release, but then I won the first season. Did think about continuing to import but decided not to. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long. Maybe we will see them start to be released next year.
Brady Bunch hasn't been shown on free to air since probably?? 98?? I really can't remember. It moved to channel 9 and then that was the last it was seen. I don't have pay tv but I know it screens on there. I'm looking forward to re-watching the seasons. I can't remember too much about them anymore as it has been so long. I have a few season 3 episodes on video that I originally taped. Last year I went through all those and marked down what I had. Also was surprised to find that I had every episode of the Brady Brides.
Have you got many brady items?? Like records or books? They are hard to come by. If your after those 3 Brady dolls Greg, Marcia and Alice, there is a toy store in Port Adelaide called the "Toy Tannic" that have them. high price on them though. I haven't felt the orge to buy them. So just letting you know if your interested. They were there the last time I was down.. and have been for a few years I think. I live in the southern suburbs.

My dad taped nearly all of the Brady Bunch episodes off Channel 10 in the mid 90's I think. But they were edited episodes, not originals. I've got payed TV, but they havent aired the show for a while, and even when they did it was always early in the morning ... I dont have many Brady items, unfortunately. Ive got "The Best of The Brady Bunch" CD, which I adore!! Alot of great songs are on there, besides the familiar ones such as "Keep On" and "Sunshine Day". I think Maureen McCormick is a fantastic singer. "Truckin' Back to You" and "Road to Love" would have to be my favourite songs. But other than the CD, the boxsets and my videos, I dont have anything else. I'm also a big Lucille Ball fan, so most of my money go's towards "Lucy" mechandise, LOL. Those dolls would be great collectors items..

I don't really have much Brady merchandise either. You just can't find it here.. and not even on oz ebay most of the time. It's with shows like these you wish you lived in America. There is a lot to collect.. just pricy to import. I have the Growing Up Brady book (I imported that one). And a few years ago I managed to find Meet The Brady Bunch LP. But I have the 3 films, some episodes taped off the tv. the season one set. I have download every single Brady song. I'm only after Eve Plumbs "Fortune Cookie Song". I have "How will it Be".
Those dolls are quite pricy. That is why I haven't brought them. And you probably have to buy them as the set I think.

Ive been downloading a few songs too, but only managed to get the 'well known' songs. Ive got a few Maureen McCormick songs, and the Lunachicks one. What downloading program do you use? Ive got Limewire.

I think I found most of the songs on WinMX but that was quite a number of years ago and off a specific user who had them. But I have them all. I'll list them all for you. I have them all burnt onto cd so if there are any that you want, just let me know and I'll rip it from the cd and try and upload it somewhere for you.
A Simple Man Ain’t It Crazy America My Home (movie) American Pie Baby, I’m a Want You Ben Born to Say Goodbye Candy (Sugar Shoppe) Charlotte’s Web Cheyenne Colorado Snow Come Run With Me Day After Day Drummer Man Everything I Do Gonna Find A Rainbow Good for Each Other Good Time Music (original) Good Time Music (movie) Gum Drop Hang On Baby How Will It Be - Eve Plumb I Believe in You I Just Want to Be Your Friend I’d Love You To Want Me It’s A Sunshine Day (original) In No Hurry Just A Singing Alone Keep On (original) Little Bird Love Doesn’t Care Whos In it Love Me Do Love My Life Away Me and You and a Dog Named Boo Merry Go Round Over and Over Parallel Lines Playing The Field River Song Road To Love Saturday In the Park Spread A Little Love Around Summer Breeze Sweet Sweethearts Tell Me Who You Love There Is Nothing More to Say Till I Met You (original) Till I Met You (movie) Time to Change (original) Truckin Back to You We Can Make the World A Whole Lot Brighter We’ll always Be Friends Yo-Yo Man You Need the Rock ‘N Roll You've Got To Be In Love To Love A Love Song Zuckerman’s Famous Pig
The Maureen songs are nice. My favourites are Candy (Sugar Shoppe), Good time Music, and You've Got To Be In Love To Love A Love Song. But they are all good. Except for Chris Knight's songs lol.. they are quite bad. And Eve's song isn't too good either.

Woah! Thats quite a collection. Ive only heard one Christopher Knight song, and thats "Road to Love", which is my fave ;D But yeah, I think I prefer him as an actor rather than a singer, LOL
The only Brady songs ive got are from the "Best of" CD. Other than those, I dont have any more. The CD has;
The Theme song Promo Intro (where the kids introduce themselves) Sunshine Day We Can Make the World a Whole Lot Brighter American Pie Born to Say Goodbye - Florence Henderson Keep On Time to Change Sweet, Sweetheart - Barry Williams I Just Wanna Be your Friend Merry Go Round Charlotte's Web Candy (Sugar Shoppe) Cheyenne - Barry Williams Road to Love - Chris Knight & Maureen McCormick Gonna Find a Rainbow Truckin' Back to You - Maureen McCormick Frosty the Snowman - Susan Olsen We'll Always Be Friends Promo Outro (The kids saying goodbye)

I forgot to list all the christmas songs. I have these too:
Away in a manger O Come all ye faithful O Holy night Santa Clause is coming to town Silent Night Silver Bells First Noel Little Drummer Boy Frosty the Snowman Jingle Bells Rudolph We wish you a merry christmas
Chris Knights solo songs are really bad. He really can't sing but at the time Chris and Maureen were the most popular brady cast members so that is why he was forced to make a record and sing.
