I was just thinking. If Oliver was never written into the show do you think there would have been a 6th season or even a 7th or an 8th? What do you guys think?

Cousin Oliver was just a victim of bad timing. I believe the show could have gone on but it was probably better to end it where it did. Robert reed would not have been back and some of the kids were becoming adults.
P.S. it looks like it might just be me and you sharing here. :-)

I do agree with you I think it was bad timing. They did the same thing in The Partridge Family as well. And The kids were really growing up I think Barry Williams was at least 20 or 21 in the final season. And Maureen McCormick was 18. Robert Reed probably was going to call it quits as well They probably would have had to find someone else to play Mike and do what they did with David cassidy so yeah. And I do think we are the only ones that talk on here now Lol!
